Embed a live LiDAR map
Put Waystone's map of any parish or scheduled monument in England and Wales on your own site: the bare-earth LiDAR, live, with the RVT toolbox. Choose a place, copy the code, paste it into your page.
Choose a place to see its map here.
What the code does
It places Waystone's map in a frame on your page, at the place you chose, with the layer on. Readers can move the map and change the relief method; a key in the frame opens the full map. The frame loads when a reader scrolls to it, and inside it the page scrolls under the mouse wheel and one finger, so it never traps a reader.
Using it
- Free to embed. Keep the line under the map that names the place and links its page on Waystone.
- The data credits stay inside the frame, as the licences ask.
- The map needs a browser with WebGL, which almost every current browser has.
- Questions, or a layer you would like to embed that is not offered here: mattbramhall.business@gmail.com.
